Directions:
If
heading from the West: Take
H1 East to exit 21A, "Pali Highway" (Route 61). Take
Route 61 South (Route 61=Pali Highway=Bishop Street). Go past 3 stoplights. After passing
the 3rd stoplight (Pali Hwy/Hotel street) you will see Bishop Square
on your left. For parking, take a left onto S. King street. Then take your first left onto Alakea
street. As you pass the
1st stoplight on Alakea street you will see
parking on your right at Alii place (just past Mandalay Restaurant).
This is the most economical place to park. If you look on your left while on Alakea
street you will see a green
sign with a big white letter P. This is Bishop Square
parking garage which is more convenient but much more expensive.
If
heading from the East: Take H1 West to exit 22, “Vineyard
street” (Route 98 West). Take
Vineyard street West and go through 2 stoplights (will cross over
Punchbowl street and Queen Emma street).
At the third stoplight, “Pali Highway” (Pali
Highway=Bishop Street) you take a left.
(will see Central Middle School on your left). Once on Pali
Highway you will continue South crossing over S. Beretania, Adams,
and Hotel streets. As
you cross over Hotel street you will see Bishop
Square on your left. For
parking, take a left onto S. King street. Then take your first
left onto Alakea street. As
you pass the 1st stoplight on Alakea street you will
see parking on your right at Alii place (just past Mandalay Restaurant).
